come and see...

My good friend Mike Miller of the Mikes Vacation Blog sent over some links to check out the movie "Come and See" which is being hosted on U-tube. Come and See is a 1985 psychological horror film directed by Elem Klimov. The film is set in Belarus during the time of the Nazi occupation. Come and see is pretty violent and concerns the experiences of a young man named Florya whose village is overrun by the Nazis. The film won a couple of awards at the moscow Film Festival and is worth the look. I don't know how long U-Tube will host the film, but if you have a fast enough internet connection, you should check it out.
